The transformative leadership model, by involving employees in the organization's decisions and informing them of the possible consequences of changes, can provide the basis for increasing people's readiness and showing appropriate behavior during change (heroic behavior) in order to succeed in the organizational change program. . The main goal of this research is to determine the effect of the transformational leadership model on the heroic behavior of employees by considering the mediating role of the perceived consequences of change and work participation in Tehran Municipality. The research approach is quantitative and the data was obtained through the distribution of a questionnaire, and its statistical sample is 350 employees of Tehran municipality. In order to analyze the collected data, descriptive statistics indicators and Kolmogorov Smirnov statistical tests, structural equation modeling and path analysis have been used. The findings indicate that the transformational leadership model had an effect on the perceived consequences of change and employee work participation, and the perceived consequences of change and employee work participation had an effect on heroic behavior; Therefore, the mediating variables of perceived consequences of change and work engagement had an effect on the relationship between transformational leadership and heroic behavior.
